Job Description - Head doctor of the Ice City Hospital.

Miso, a Watchog.
Male -- Serious Nature.
Normally fetches items and tools, helping Doctor Ashworth with his job as well. So with this said, it can be concluded that this pokemon rarely leaves Émeric's side. Unless of course, it is running around the hospital trying to fetch things for the Doctor. Tools or trays, sometimes back up help. It takes its job it was given as a very serious one.
Lenore, a Flygon.
Female -- Quiet Nature.
This Flygon is normally the messenger around the hospital. Give it a piece of paper with a note on it, telling it the room number to go to, it'll be there. Lenore is always dashing around the hospital giving notes to and from patients. Sometimes she will even go pass messages on from hospital to hospital- or from the hospital to anyone that Doctor Ashworth has to work with a long distance away. Lenore, in her free time, also may be seen baby sitting the Doctor's little three year old son.
Fang, an Arcanine.
Female -- Level 40 -- Dedicated Nature.
Ability: Intimidate.
Attacks: Extreme Speed, Fire Fang, Thunderfang, Bite.
HP: 134/134.
Fang is what you would know as a guard dog. Any patients trying to escape without having the clear to, Fang will heard them back to their room. She keeps an eye on the hostile people and keeps people in line. A very good guard pokemon, one would not like to upset her.
Relatives - Enya Azar Ashworth, a three year old Deino gijinka. Ashworth bought him from a hunter and now considers him an adoptive son. Considering Ashworth lives in the hospital, Enya can usually be seen running around and playing. Unfortunately, Enya gets hurt a lot. Mostly because he is blind and cannot see where he is going. IMAGE.
Personality - Émeric is a very caring man with a soft spot for children and pokemon. Despite not looking like he is caring, Émeric certainly offers the best care for patients- better than a lot of hospitals. Plus, with the government funding the place, the care for one is really cheap. And one can be a shapeshifter, a gijinka or a human and still get the same amount of care and comfort the hospital offers. If not, than you can complain to Émeric and he will make sure it is fixed, the doctor having been put in charge of the patient will get a lecture. After all, besides the government, Émeric is the head of the hospital.
This doctor is also a strong believer in privacy, all patients information is classified and only he knows the information. The other doctors only know the health issues or medication the patient has or is on, and the matter with them. But also with the privacy thing, it means Émeric is very reserved and won't tell others much about him or himself no matter how talkative he can be.
Talkative and friendly, Émeric is certainly not perfect but certainly doesn't have many darksides to his personality.
History - Born and raised in Ice City to two trainers- who also participated in contests and breeding from time to time, Émeric has been around pokemon for a lot of his life and surprisingly- his interests did not go towards working with them. As he grew older, he kind of took to feeling bad to humans considering he only saw the side of the world where pokemon got the most help with things. Not humans. So eventually he grew to wanting to help humans and see that side of things more than helping pokemon- but don't get him wrong in that category, Émeric will still help a pokemon if it needs help. By taking it to the Pokemon Center.
During his teen years, he accidentally got in a fight with a Charizard. Yes, accidentally- he had angered the thing. And of course, that didn't end well. Considering it was a human versus a very angry fire giant. So with that said, he did end up with a couple broken bones and half his face burned off. The mother let Charizard go free after that and by some miracle, Émeric survived. The one side of his face is metal fused with skin. People can still see where the skin meets metal and becomes one. That eye, the right one- the side of his face that got burned off, is actually a glass eye. The original one was melted. But thankfully, with some strange magic [probably a pokemon magic], something gave him sight in that eye. Despite it being glass, he can see out of it. If just blurry on some days.
During his adult years, he continued school and went on to be a medic. Appointed at the Ice City hospital, an in his early thirties his parents passed away from sickness. But at that time, he was also appointed to the head medic. So some good with some bad. He has also been in charge of the entire works of the place for a couple years now. Almost a decade so he knows what he is doing and he knows how to work the place. With him are his Flygon and Watchog as helping companions and Fang, a battle pokemon for fighting and guarding the place.
Just two years ago, he obtained Enya. When he did get his adopted son, it was from a hunter. Enya was about a year then, a sick, blind and weak mess. Yet with some medicines and doctoring, Enya managed to recover from the sickness and gained his strength. Émeric has been taking care of the blind boy for two years and is like a son to him- despite the young toddler being a gijinka.
Besides this, all has been well.
