Aqil -- Male -- Seventeen.
4'9 -- Bisexual -- Ranger.
4'9 -- Bisexual -- Ranger.
Preferred Legendary - Garintina.
Preferred Starter - Houndour or Starly.
Preferred Starter Type - Bird or Canine.
Personality - A quiet, different type of person he is. He will speak his mind if he has something to say but he does have a fairly soft voice. He is also pretty friendly, if people do not tease him or learn of his past that is. But Aqil can also be timid and weary of people, normally hunters. Sometimes trainers, if they don't let their pokemon walk besides them or out of their pokeballs. Aqil is very against such this.
But sadly, Aqil has a dark side. Due to how he was raised, he does attack people if he is angry enough and he does have a craving for raw meat occasionally. He also is not a big fan of regular food that much. So definitely not going to see him eat many vegetables or drink anything besides water. So yes. Aqil is a strange boy who is still adapting to the way humans are suppose to live.
History - Born to a sickly mother in a cabin, nestled in thick dark woods- Aqil was practically born as an orphan. It is because shortly after his birth, his mother died. He would have been dead too, considering people rarely ventured out into that territory but he had been found by a pack of Houndooms about two days later. The pack took him in and raised them, his second mother being one who was raising some newly hatched Houndours. And thus his childhood started.
By the time he was five, Aqil was running and playing with the Houndours- occasionally running with the pack too. It wasn't until he was seven when Aqil began to hunt with them as well. A year later at the age of eight, his playmates evolved into Houndooms which left Aqil wondering why he was not like them. Yet the question soon faded.
He was captured by a hunter at this point as well, the tattoo's on his face being a cause of this. 'Branding,' or something like that until he realized Aqil was actually human and not what he thought- the rare shape shifter. He was stuck under this hunter's rule for a month. Many things happened to him during this month before realization hit the man who had picked him up from the woods. It was a month which Aqil will never forget and why he gets so timid around people who declare themselves of such. He is also weary of those types of people.
After that month, he was released back into the woods where he found his pack who happily accepted him back with love and kindness.
At the age of ten, he finally started on two feet. Occasionally he did this but not all the time. A long while after learning this skill, the pack lead him to the edge of the woods. Feeling they had accomplished their task- raising him and showing him how to live, they decided it was time for him to join his own kind. It was hard on the twelve year old to break up with them, trying to go to his mother (second) for help but after they said their goodbyes- he was pushed from the pack.
It was more like chased, trying to get him to go. Eventually he did, but it was hard on both of them. Aqil was only fifteen at that time when he stepped foot on asphalt, tile and dirt road. A scruffy, long-haired, dirty mess who barked and growled at people- it scared people and made him seem odd. Causing teasing from locals but a nice family took him in. Gave him his first bath, cleaned him up and gave him clothes. Finally given good food besides raw meat.
Thus a new chapter of his life began.
It took a while but he was learned how to speak, how to act reasonable in public and such. It was all new and different to him- he didn't like it to say the least but he adjusted to it. After a while, he learned he was human and what raised him was pokemon.
So Aqil decided to pick up an occupation with pokemon and decided on ranger.
Yet when he still needs to run, this seventeen year old still kicks off his shoes and bolts on all fours. Just like the pack taught him. But it is still a matter of time before he snaps with the urge of fresh meat again, and this time for humans.
