Basically, he seemed to have aged well. His former black eyes had changed to blue over the years, slowly bleeding into their new color, and his dark black hair began to lighten only a bit; perhaps a mix of stress or of relief. He grew taller, thinner, losing some of his upper body strength that he has some trouble getting back. He isn't useless, however, and can hold his own in a fight. His skin had remained pale due to him staying inside most of the day and hiding from the sun. Raito himself was the former leader of the Black Jokers, despising his father with every inch of his being. The anger and rage felt for his father soon disappeared when his father finally passed. Right after that were the wars. Raito had no intention to fight and quickly disbanded the Black Jokers in hopes to protect those that worked for him, to protect them and keep them safe. He was a smuggling company, not a battle-oriented gang. He himself hid underground, hoping to keep safe while the disaster formed above him. One war passed, then another came, Raito enjoying his time hiding underground in the bunker. As soon as the wars were over, he slowly came out. His title as Raito, the leader of the Black Jokers, as a lord of the underground black market, was destroyed. Some of his own Pokemon had passed after the wars, the stress finally getting to him. His empire had fallen. His savings gone. Everything he worked for had vanished. His friends, his enemies, even. His father was dead, Mirun seemed to fade into the background, Moss? Who the hell knew? Flame Thornfield? The people Raito saw as family even though he butted heads with them countless times were no where to be found. In some way, he found a bright side. He had Mio, someone that had actually been able to worm their way into his angry and hate-filled heart. With no one to stop him, Raito quickly made a fake I.D. with some old favors he called upon and took up a position to help the human population. He was strong enough and skilled enough to be a champion, and after Shi seemed to vanish from the realm when people needed him most, who else? Raito even decided to try and keep peace with the Dark Ones, to ensure the humans would survive. So far, he feels like he does his best. Without his former black market empire, and without anyone to try and stop him, what else is he going to do? Raito plans that, as soon as the Region gets back on its feet, he will bring back his former empire and rule the underground. But for now, he needs to do what he can to try and keep the peace. If that's possible. canons only Raito will be taking the Dark One Ex-Champion position~ Team:  Chiaro; Mightyena Male || Level 50 || Intimidate || Ice Fang Details: Chiaro was given to Raito as a little puppy. He has been a loyal companion for years, always acting as Raito's best body guard and best friend. They hit a rough spot when Raito was tired of caring for Chiaro, but even through the abuse Chiaro suffered he stayed with Raito, and it payed off as Raito now treats Chiaro like the king he is.  Jabi; Empoleon Male || Level 46 || Defiant || Aqua Ring Details: Raito obtained this Pokemon from an old friend that also ran part of the former black market. Jabi was always a loyal Pokemon but also too vicious for his own good. He attacks at the first sign of danger, but acts as a good body guard in very dangerous areas, demanding respect for Raito. Usually, Jabi is a silent Pokemon that can't take a joke. He isn't loving.  Kiki; Haunter Female || Level 45 || Levitate || Disable Details: A sweetheart, Kiki found Raito herself when he was in the underground bunker. She quickly took a liking to him as well as Chiaro. Raito has grown close enough to her he has no intentions of evolving her.  Roma; Skarmory Male || Level 45 || Sturdy || Sky Attack Details: A Pokemon Raito gained after he got out of the bunker, almost like Jabi, except he caught Roma. He found the Skarmory in the Dark Lands during a quick visit and soon had the Pokemon under his control. Roma has become a member of Raito's new team and part of the family.

Nobody wants to know him, they can see he is just a fool. and he never gives an answer, but the fool on the hill sees the sun going down and the eyes in his head see the world spinning around.
