juneau miasma laufey FEMALE & 32 & PANSEXUAL & simipour GIJINKA & neutral but supports the dark ones & MERCENARY (trainer) appearance Evidently, the surgeons that fused Juneau with a Pokemon's DNA took liberties with her appearance. Leaning towards the petite side but of mostly average height, this woman has a wiry, lean build packed with muscle. Her figure is more geared towards speed and agility than brute strength, but she can exert a lot of force when she puts her mind to it. Despite her age, she has few curves, but she doesn't mind; it lets her stay aerodynamic. Her skin is a light cream hue, though it seems pale and porcelain under bright light. Often, injuries can be found crisscrossing her body, though she doesn't have any permanent scars as of yet. She looks to be in her mid-twenties, though she's really in her early thirties. The first physical aspect everyone notices of Juneau is her hair. Long, straight, and thick, it cascades down to her waist in large quantities. It doesn't grow when at this height, but when cut, it lengthens back to waist-length in a matter of weeks. Her hair has a silky quality, like fine threads of water, and changes color in varying shades of blue depending on how much water is stored in it. With less water, it maintains a brighter and lighter hue, and with more water, it sustains a darker and deeper color. Depending on the occasion, her mood, and other factors, her hairstyle varies, though it's most often seen in two high pigtails towards the back of her head. With a heart-shaped face and pert features, Juneau can be described as "pretty", though "noticeable" certainly hits the mark more and she can't be called "beautiful". The easiest way to read her thoughts and emotions is to analyze her perpetual smile, reflecting moods ranging from coy to sadistic with a simple turn of her lips. Her eyes are large and almond-shaped, with irises that reflect the ever-changing colors of her hair. At hip-level, a thick, long tail of a creamy hue with a sky blue tuft that spreads outwards like a flower's petals sprouts from her lower back. This is the most sensitive part of the body, so she tries to keep it away from others' notice. Juneau's wardrobe is expansive and encompasses all occasions for appropriate wear. Usually, her tail is covered so that it's out of sight but can be whipped out at a moment's notice. She likes to go around in style, though, and can be seen sporting flashy clothing here and there. Her raiment is vaguely Victorian and posh. When on the field, though, dark, plain, and protective clothes do the trick, though she struggles to hide her overt hair. Almost all the time she'll have a few weapons hidden discreetly away, like throwing knives tucked underneath folds of lace or strapped to her legs, under flowing dresses. Just in case. personality
history Juneau's creation lies shrouded in mystery. It seems obvious that dark ones fused her body with a Simipour and wiped her mind clean (not that she minds, she's grateful actually), but she woke up in the middle of a nondescript valley with no memories of her past and present and no-one in sight. Maybe she was deemed too weak or unstable for the cause, maybe she was dumped out here to die. Whatever the case, she knew her purpose the moment she opened her eyes: fight for the dark ones. Well, it didn't quite work out like that. Whoever operated on her didn't take her personality into consideration, it seemed. Juneau was (and still is) a fickle being, a nomad who drifted from one side and viewpoint to another for the most ridiculous reasons. As she wandered into human civilization, or what was left of it as the war raged on, she learned of her surroundings and what exactly she was. That's when she got to work. Juneau became a mercenary, someone who did anything for anyone who offered her the right price. Most of the time she worked for dark ones, but there were occasions where she was hired by humans and elves. She rarely engaged in outright battle, seeing as she didn't have time to train and was therefore weaker in level and strength than most others, but she was a handy assassin and informant. She taught herself how to handle knives, bows, firearms, and poisons, though she couldn't get the hang of swords. The war was fun. Soon enough, Juneau learned that she enjoyed inflicting pain, relished seeing the light flickering out of her victims' eyes. On occasion she worked with Pokemon, but they all died at one point or another. She didn't grieve. She couldn't get enough of the excitement and carnage that came with battle, and thrived on the field where others shattered. Then, too abruptly for her taste, the war ended, and people began to recover. There was suddenly less and less for Juneau to do, though her flow of shady requests never halted. It upset her, but she knew that times were changing, so she made an effort to fit into society. Fancy, vaguely Victorian clothes, she found, delighted her, and it seemed that Pokemon were more useful that she thought they would be. And, after some investigations, people payed quite a bit to keep their dirty little secrets safe, so she made a steady income from blackmails as well as requests in her line of work. But she couldn't let go of her bloodthirsty side, so she decided to take up training and grow stronger in order to cause and take part in chaos again. When she was invincible, impossible to defeat, and shattered everyone in her path, that was when she could be truly comfortable again. the other half Juneau's tail can siphon and expel water, which is stored in her hair. The stored water is used up over time, but it's effected by her usage of water attacks. If she runs out of water, she can't use water attacks and will have very little energy. Clean water serves as an energy booster for her, like an adrenaline rush, when consumed in large quantities. Also, it powers up the strength of her water-based attacks, though both she and her water attacks grow weaker when she has less water stored away. Water poisoned in any way can still be absorbed by her, though she'll get sick if it stays in her hair for too long. The poisoned water can be used in water-based attacks, though, which can ail the target. She cannot absorb water from the Black River, though that may becomes possible if she grows very, very strong.
