Toril Ragna Petra Female & 23 & Bisexual & Gijinka & Unknown & Book Keeper appearance Short, pale, and frail-looking, Toril looks like someone could snap her in half if they tried hard enough. This isn't the case. It isn't as much as the fact she would freeze anyone that tried, but instead that she is as hard as ice--quite literally. Her skin appears and feels soft and is even a bit squishy, but is very hard to break through. Shots don't work very well. Her hair is usually light blond, sometimes appearing white. When she is angered or in a bad mood, her hair can change to a dull grey to black--thanks to her ghost half. Her clothes usually change with her mood. Since her dress is made out of her--what some would call "ice magic"--she can change its color anytime, her favorites being blue or black. She has other clothes that she actually buys, but she wears them on rare occasions. Light blue to grey eyes, Toril can change their color too. From blue to red in an instant, her eyes give away her mood. If she's angry, her eyes will be red. Yet another "perk" from the ghost half. Even though she is twenty-three years old with half a ghost in her, she looks fabulous. This is partly due to her powers with ice that have--for most purposes--frozen her in time. She's still alive, of course. She wasn't a human that had a ghost shoved inside of her, after all, and her body is the one she always had since birth. There is no rotting taking place, just the constant re-freezing of herself to stay looking young. By the time she's in her hundreds, she will still look the same. personality
history She was born before the war than after it, but even then the powerful flow of magic changed a lot of things for her--especially for her mother that was being used for a new experiment. Even though the Legends hadn't woken up, they were stirring and getting ready to rise and thus the heavy flow of magic that messed with scientific instruments and measurements. Many ghost Gijinkas had been made after birth a thus their human portion was dead. Not for a few of them. Toril was one of those few. The soul of the ghost was combined with her when she was still developing. Her body adapted in the womb to survive and to not decay or die. Her mother--bless the old woman's heart--died of freezing from the inside a week after the experiment. The doctors didn't dare try to remove Toril from the wound--which was smart on their part--she was eating. The ghost pushed develop forward, much faster than was possible. Toril was soon out of her mother's body, having eaten her fill as a young infant that crawled out of the bloody mess. The humans then began to train her, raising her for whatever purpose they wanted a female Gijinka for. Not that Toril cared. She got hungry often and they never fed her enough, so as soon as she learned how to freeze things over from the more intelligent ghost-half, she froze them all and lived out her days growing to the ripe age of twenty-three. The war started when the was eight years old and raged in the outside world for fifteen more years. She grew up alone in her own little world, surrounded by the books of the humans. She studied them, poured her mind out to them, and learned. She adopted a love for books and took very good care of them. Sometimes her cold touch would freeze the pages, but she learned how to concentrate her powers away from her hands and she usually set by an open flame to keep the book warm. Thus, she developed her love of fireplaces--but not fire type Pokemon. While she grew, with years passing by without her knowing much about the outside world thanks to the war. Toril froze the whole area she was in to keep the war at bay. Snow covered the area and--it took a lot of energy--a permanent blizzard formed around the "lab" that was covered in a heavy blanket of snow. For extra protection, she froze every door and window. She didn't need oxygen, she was a ghost. Breathing was nothing more than a pastime. Or--her mortal side needed to breathe but only once every month. Her heart beat so slow, and even then most of her energy came from her own internal reserves that required a lot of food to maintain. After her nap, Toril woke up. Something had happened. Her snow was gone and her storm had ended, replaced with warm mountains. and lush valleys. She could feel magic pulsing from the ground. Light magic. The type of magic that created her. She felt like she needed to let the magic stay, as it had given her the perfect body for survival, and the perfect body for attracting prey--as she learned later. Stupid males of any species that were attracted wandered in close. A little flirting, a little dancing, and Toril had her next meal. After missing persons began to worry the general population of the new area of the different species, Toril began to feast on Pokemon instead. Her meal plan was still open to anything edible, however. Toril learned after she began to involve herself in the new world--having to adapt she learned to the modern slang of the humans and elves. She even learned of the wars she hid from. One of humans and the other of Legends. Interesting. regardless, Toril spent three years awake after the war and away from the area she grew up in, running a peaceful bookstore. She collected books and stories, and copied them whenever she got a new one to add to her collection, just in case there was a customer. Today, she lives inside her bookshop on the second floor. She spends most of her free time in the reading lounge that offers tea with a polite request and has three fireplaces and plenty of chairs to settle on. Tax collectors stopped coming around after a few of them went missing, of course. Toril told them that she was going to pay, but they suddenly ran off after a few strange "happenings". Toril has made the general public (or those that care about her shop) believe it was haunted by a ghost. Perfect ploy for missing persons--as long as she controlled herself and let no one into her freezer located int he basement under heavy lock and key. the other half "Powers" - controlling ice and snow doesn't really count since any Froslass could do such a thing, however, if Toril concentrates long enough she can pass through walls and other solid objects for a few minutes. She can't fly, but she can hover for a few seconds about five feet off the ground and slowly float down to safety. She can't do this often. She must freeze herself every hundred years in order to remain young and keep her body living and breathing. She is isn't near this time yet, however, and her body is still forming. Sometimes she feels colder and the air around her beings to freeze, but most of the time she can contain her powers. In order to survive, she needs to eat anything that is meat. This means humans, elves, Dark Ones, Gijinka, and Pokemon. She won't eat those she thinks are useful or her future team, but sometimes she may devour a Pokemon she had defeated after freezing it solid. She has a freezer filled with random creatures that she's 'saving' for a rainy day. She does not consider this cannibalism since she doesn't eat other Froslasses and she doesn't consider herself even half-human--despite her looks. SPECIES: Froslass LEVEL: 15 ABILITY: Cursed Body EGG MOVE: Avalanche | Boys only want love if its torture. don't say I didn't, didn't warn ya.
