Leo Tore Male & 35 years & Pan & Human & Humans & Rancher appearance Shi - Leo now - has gained some muscles and frequently shows them off when he is at home in the company of nobody but himself or his Pokemon. He dyed his hair to a blackish-blue to hide its naturally purple hue. Leo also wears colored contacts to make his naturally purple eyes appear red. He has tattoos after one of his phases that each represent something important to him and he proudly bares the scar on his face. Leo reaches about 5'8'' in height and weights over two hundred pounds given he remembers to eat balanced meals every week. Otherwise, he looks like a normal person. He typically wears normal rancher clothes like jeans, button-down shirt, belt, boots, and a hat; however, Leo does wear more of this traditional family clothing when he's not working. personality
history As a Champion of the Phoenix region, Shi - or Leo as he calls himself now - was responsible for protecting the Region and the innocent from anything bad that could happen. He fought against the rebellion on the side with his co-workers and eventually took to protecting the civilians when the Elders woke up and began their fight. After all the turmoil settled, Shi - Leo - knew he wasn't safe anymore. He was a former Champion and he eventually dropped his title and gave it to those that had been powerful enough to enter the Hall of Fame against him over the years (but he was the "face" of the League, the others still traveled around and someone had to do the paperwork). Taking what he could from his burning home, Leo changed his name, dyed his hair, and quickly abandoned his favorite scarf and cloak in favor of more traditional clothing that he would never usually wear. After everything else that happened, Leo made the hardest choice of his life: he released his team. Every Pokemon he had trained to gain his champion title - even Tulip the shiny Lapras - he set free. His fear was that someone would recognize him by his Pokemon and try to not only hurt him but his team as well. With this in mind, Leo forced his Pokemon to leave him. His Nidoking, lovingly called King for many years, left Leo with one small present. An egg. With that, all the Pokemon left like ordered, some fleeing the region on Tulip's back and others hiding on the neighboring islands to stay safe like ordered. Alone, besides an egg in his arms, Leo went off to help the other humans rebuild. He told no one his real name, and kept his head down and mouth shut. He helped rebuild several towns and cities, helping to get electricity and water flowing, and even made peace with a few elf tribes near the human border. After all that was said and done, Leo settled down on his own patch of land and began to settle in. He only had a small amount of money that he used to purchase a Rapidash that had forced evolved during the war, and used the rest of the money to spread his land so he could get a herd once the new human government allowed it. Leo wanted to keep everything he had small and to avoid being noticed, a rather easy thing to do after he changed his looks and actually began to work out a little. Both wars changed him, as well. He wasn't shy anymore, or a stuttering fool that fainted if too much blood rushed to his face. His outside being just as rough as his hands. What did someone expect to happen? Leo couldn't remain soft and caring. He lost the Pokemon he loved dearly, was raising a young Nidorino (that had evolved after Leo trained it some), and was trying to do a job he had never done before. There was nothing left. Not anymore. Meadow Town was destroyed and with that most of Leo's tolerance and kindness towards everything in the world left. He had a bitter hate for the Elders and for those that attacked his home. Above all, however, Leo lost his friends. Mirun had gone missing, Flame was dead, Moss had disappeared, who knew where Raito was (he probably ran off with that Mio person), Thornfield's age finally caught up with her right before the war, Mr. M was probably dead, and Leo lost someone else very special to him. Not that it mattered. Phoenix was gone, his home was gone, and he had to get along with it. He wouldn't run, he wasn't a coward. et cetera He obtained his scar from the first war that overthrew the king. It had healed over rather nicely, making him look much different than before. Leo went through a phase after both wars where he covered his body in tattoos to remember everything he lost. He's a little shy about some of his tattoos, however, and won't let anyone touch them. He picked up a smoking habit but only smokes when stressed. -- Team: Rose ; Rapidash Female || Level 25 || Flame Body || Hypnosis Details: A former war horse, Rose is covered in battle scars and has a hard time trusting most people. She bonded with Leo after he purchased her and retired her to a peaceful life of herding and wandering around the more peaceful parts of the region. Rose isn't forced to fight but sometimes participated in a battle just to further herself. Nemo ; Nidorino Male || Level 23 || Poison Point || Confusion Details: King's only surviving child after the war, Nemo was placed in Leo's care and remains loyal to the human. While Nemo never knew his father, Leo carries around pictures of his former team and has shown Nemo who his father is. This has sparked a strong will in Nemo to be just as strong as his father was and to protect Leo and his team just like his father did. Mimi ; Herdier Male || Level 23 || Scrappy || Ice Fang Details: Mr. M found his way to Leo shortly after the war and shortly after Rose was purchased. Mimi was a weak Lilipup that was starved and in shambles. Leo, still being a soft-heart like he was, adopted Mimi and began to care for him. Over the weeks Leo had Mimi, the dog evolved and became one of Leo's most loyal Pokemon - Mimi even challenges Nemo in loyalty. | Hey fairy where you going? I'm trying some more of this light.
