Mirun N. O'Hannegan Male & 47 & Homosexual & Human & Dark Ones & Scientist appearance Just because Mirun is "old" doesn't mean he hasn't retained some of his looks. He appears young due to how healthy he keeps himself and the fact he isn't eighty. He has gotten slightly weaker due to a poor diet, but otherwise he retained some strength. His hair is still blond and his eyes still bright blue, but his usually tan skin has grown a little paler. He doesn't spend too much time outside anymore, but when he does, it is usually hours. personality remove this if you do not plan on listing.
history Life was pretty good before the war took place. Mirun had a family, the love of his life, and was finally beginning to come to terms with the events in his past. He was even constantly taking his medication. That was when everything changed. The war spread over the Region and Mirun - being the head breeder - did what he could to protect his town and his family. His Pokemon fought bravely but even they fell, all but a few that Mirun took to hide in a bunker with. His love had perished under the burning breeding building, and his kids disappeared. The stress from the event and losing the only people Mirun actually began to love shook him to his core and caused him to have yet another mental breakdown, but this one worse. He forgot most of his past, even his abusive father, and would occasionally have nightmares from events that had happened that he couldn't remember. Faces that he recognized and knew were his friends, but couldn't but names to. He even forgot his children, and saw their faces in his dreams. What were their names? Every time the names were on the tip of his tongue but he always woke up screaming for them to run and hide, to get away from the war. He had failed as a parent in his eyes and couldn't protect his family. What else was left for him? Tired, sick, and suffering from a lack of his medication, Mirun hid away while everything settled down. He saw the battle between the two Legendary Pokemon - but he couldn't bring himself to care. He was starving himself, refusing to eat anything his Pokemon brought him. He was a burden at that point to even his Pokemon so what was the point? That was when something - someone - found him wandering the destroyed human lands with his Pokemon. Mirun had been very careful to avoid any and all magic for a long time, but he was suffering. He couldn't tell reality apart from his own mind and he had already accepted his own death. The thing - or person - that found him kept talking nonsense to Mirun. He didn't care. He couldn't bring himself too. That was when - none to gently - he was forced to take some herbs and medicine. To his amazement, they helped. Mirun could focus his thoughts, organize his speech, and he even regained his appetite. Thanks to the help of the now-known elf that had grey skin compared to the others, that Mirun was wanted for some scientific research. Why? He didn't know. As grateful as he was for his speedy recovery due to the herbs, he didn't really want to help anyone with anything. For one, his lab was destroyed along with all his wealth, hard work,and family. He knew that much. The stranger didn't take kindly to the answer 'no'. Every night since then he was plagued by even worse nightmares and found he kept getting sick with very common viruses. After a few days of suffering, the stranger had come back and asked Mirun again. Once more, thanks to his stubbornness, Mirun said no. After that he found memories kept flooding back whenever he tried to get some rest. It was horrible, he could no longer eat or sleep and the stranger was always there this time, and would never stop talking. Mirun's Pokemon, try as they might, tried to scare off the stranger, but they too were suffering from the affects of the war. The sudden flow of magic back into the region had distorted them slightly, but nothing would stop them from growling and snapping their jaws. After several weeks of the mental suffering, Mirun finally broke down and agreed to join the stranger. Mirun was taken into the Dark Lands and then led to his lab that rested deep in the lands filled with black magic and death. It didn't bother him. As soon as he was settled in the lab, Mirun got to work doing whatever he was told while working on some side experiments. Stronger Gijinka, stronger Pokemon, ways to control magic with handheld weapons, anything and everything he could. He even tried to unlock some of his past memories and to see what he was forgetting. He knew what made him into him, he understood everything, Mirun just couldn't grasp the memories. That was something he wanted to do, as well as bring his family back. He was no good at dark magic, but if Mirun ever got his hands on someone that was rather good at it, nothing would stop him from tying them down and tearing them apart until they dis as he told them. He had to see his children again, to remember their names. It was a goal he had, and Mirun was notorious for never letting a goal slip through his fingers. canons only Dark Ones - Head Scientist Team:  Mozart ; HaxorusMale || 45 || Mold Breaker || Iron Tail Details: Mirun's starter Pokemon and lifelong friend, this Haxorus has been with him every day. Mozart took a heavy blow from the war which weakened him greatly, but he was able to keep Mirun and three other of his cherished Pokemon alive. Mozart will never leave Mirun alone by choice.  Persephone ; HoundourFemale || 35 || Flash Fire || Thunder Fang Details: One out of two surviving baby Pokemon from Mirun's old breeding program, Persephone hasn't yet evolved because Mirun likes how cuddly and warm she is. However, he may evolve her one day for safety reasons.  Athena ; BunearyFemale || 40 || Limber || Ice Punch Details: The second only surviving baby Pokemon from Mirun's breeding program, Athena has managed to grow very strong, but due to how distant Mirun was during her growth she never had the chance to evolve. Now, thanks to Mirun being active again and giving her and the others the attention they deserve, she is eager to finally evolve to better protect Mirun.  Apollo ; RuffletMale || 45 || Keen Eye || Heat Wave (tutor move due to lack of egg moves) Details: While not a surviving baby Pokemon, Apollo was bred and raised by Mirun. He was a specialized hunting bird that was kept small for potential buyers. The day before his selling, however, the war started.
