Akkar nodded, not caring if strangers took off their mask, but he couldn't. Least he wanted Balin on his tail again, still, he took in the stranger's face, locking eyes and staring back. Akkar wasn't one to break eye-contact, went against the elven court to do so, or, it went against the court to do so with him but here the rules were different. "No worries, Gomez," Akkar said with a smile. "I hope you understand if I keep mine on." Finding him would be too easy then. Most of the guest probably didn't know he was attending. Some of the elves didn't even know, and Akkar wanted to keep it that way.

Gomez smiled at the elf and replied "No problem my friend. It's your choice and who am I to judge that?" Gomez looked honestly in the eye's of the elf in front of him. "So what do you think of this party?" he asked while drinking some of his wine.
