Occupation: Tattoo artist and Capricorn Leader.
Details - Tattoo Artist: He has been tattooing since he was merely twenty, so Ichiro has a lot of skill and is a fantastic worker with these things. But, he is rather fussy- he won't tattoo someone who wants a design 'just because'. He needs to know there is either some thought put into it or meaning. A reason.
He also varies his styles. Ichiro can do multiple types of tattoo work, but he is only able to tattoo in two ways. Through the traditional 'hand carving' method, and by the modern electric needle. And of course, his clients prefer an electric needle above getting a tattoo carved into their skin which laser surgery wouldn't be able to remove.
Details - Capricorn Leader: The how and why of this gangs origins remain unknown, considering Ichiro is the only one who has survived long enough to remember it clearly. The first members stories who recalled it before their passing has mixed into rumor. But, one thing is certain. Ichiro is the leader, and he loves his team mates.

Capricorns: Founded five hundred sixty three years ago, Ichiro is most likely the only one who could tell you how it came to be. In all honesty, the Capricorns started out as a protection program. Not really a gang, which they began to be seen as more and more as years came to pass. It all started when Ichiro took in a pair of brothers. Twenty nine and twenty one, they had ran away from a different village due to a series of events that occurred.
He found them on a walk, and took them home. Gave them some food and shelter for the night and got in contact with a couple acquaintances to help out in getting the brothers settled into a comfy life. It took some years to accomplish of course, but in the end- Ichiro, the brothers, and the couple of acquaintances formed a small group known as the Capricorns. Everyone founders and leaders, Ichiro now the last one standing- still alive.
It started out as a protection agency, in a sense. They'd take in those fleeing from whatever issues- war, violence, wrongful conviction, etcetra, and help them. Give them protection and help them settle. Or, if anything, hook them up with enough supplies to help them continue on with their goals and ambitions.
It started out small, not very well known, but as word spread- people began to gather. More seeking their services from the Capricorns, more wanting to join them and help out those in need. So they grew in numbers- all of it just starting as a tattoo artist and a couple of acquaintances wanting to help out someone they took pity for. But as time grew on, some people started to see them as a gang.
Might have been from Ichiro's designed tattoo to tell who was with them at some point, or the fact they'd help out wanted people and even take in criminals into the Capricorns. Either way, it grew in numbers, newer people and more rumors spread of how it started. Yes, some of they people knew exactly how it started but rumors were fun. They let them imagine- Ichiro always being found of creativity and thinking outside the box.
As time passed, people died off, some left but remained acquaintances, people still joined but it wasn't as grand as it was in its first decade or two. But Ichiro was fine with that, it meant less popularity and they could still help out but on a more down toned level. Yet with age came him being more iffy. Ichiro tightened down on the Capricorns within fifty years of running- he started to pay close attention to who was joining and who wasn't.
He didn't want people who were just hanging on for the ride or any awful people- criminals were bad, yes, but some of them had better sides to them. And at some point, it became to the point it was exclusive. The protection agency mind set also dimmed down to a point they'd only fool around with corrupt businesses every now and then.
This lasted for quite sometime before Ichiro moved the group to Phoenix just ten years ago. Restrictions loosened, but he was still rather iffy about who joined or not. He didn't want anyone who would cause more harm than good with them, but otherwise, it didn't matter as much anymore.
The Capricorns remain a small group, not as big or as grand as it once was. The gang, in lack of other words, normally doesn't get in disputes and most of them are neutral went it comes to debates on whether one would be for white knights or the jokers. They more so continue their legacy of helping others, and toy around with corrupt businesses still.
As for their name? Capricorns was named such due to the diligence, honesty, and hard work related to the symbol. Their own symbol being seen here which gets tattooed on every members left hip by Ichiro himself. One will not be recognized as part of the Capricorns if they go without.
It is tattooed in such a place since Ichiro wants some secrecy to them. His goal is for them to just be there, have a little fun, help out- but not to cause trouble and not to earn a name for themselves. Rumors of their existence is fine but the blond will not be happy in the least if they become main talk or end up in the media. Or if to many people suddenly show up to join.Of course he doesn't mind them as a large group, it'd bring bitter sweet memories- but the more numbers than the less secrecy it'll be.

Metaphor that fits because, by
Ichiro is a very odd person in general, but that may be because he has this cheerful and happy expression about him but a slightly ominous sense attached to it. Which is good or bad depending on how one sees it, but since he is usually so friendly- best to shrug that off, right? And speaking of friendly, friends. Ichiro doesn't have many and prefers not to be noticed in public but when someone can become his friend, than it is worth it. You'll get advice and a shoulder to cry on, a place to stay whenever, good hospitality, and food. Lots of good food- since Ichiro will actually cook for his guests unless it is a customer he is working on. Then it is instant ramen.
He also is pretty quiet, he doesn't talk very much and when he does- it is a pretty quiet tone too. Light and airy as if his voice carries no weight at all, but it can and will get darker when he is angry. His voice can also get in between such when he doesn't feel like being as upbeat as he always has been. So it various depending on his mood and how he feels towards the person, making Ichiro a bit more of a stranger person than he already is and already has become. But then again, how can you live for nearly six hundred years and not be strange?

definition, once the nothingness
Prelude.
Roughly six hundred years ago, young marriage was the norm. Or well, at least where Ichi had been born and raised. His mother married off at fourteen to a sixteen year old male, an arranged marriage. The two weren't happy with one another in the least, two aristocrats from different cities who had their marriage set up by parents who were more concerned about trade and the bonds between the places than their child's happiness. So of course, there was a lot of arguing and the two never could quite agree on anything.
The mother being more of a rebel actually stayed out of the house and away from his wife more times than often. It was at seventeen when she became pregnant with her son, and it was then her parents actually stopped supplying her money so that she could be in her and her husbands home more often. Since it wouldn't be healthy if she remained hopping from hotel to hotel and stayed on the streets with a child, and they thought she had to get over her indifference with her husband.
Nine months later, Ichiro was born into the Matsouka family.
Early Childhood.
Everything was pretty good during his childhood. Or well, for most kids. He had money, he was getting an education, he was learning how to read and write. But some things were a little off, he didn't talk until a later age and he was always more interested in drawing than writing actual words. Which, his first language was Japanese before he began to learn Cantonese, then Mongolian.
Another thing off was the arguing, ever since a young age- he always had to deal with his parents arguing and bickering about something or the other. He'd of course sit quietly and watch, be a good child and not interrupt. But, sometimes he'd worry a little bit because at times his mother would be hit. None of it was ever directed towards him, mainly because his father praised him. Their first child, a boy at that. So Ichiro was his only son which is why he was praised.
At nine, during one of his parents arguments, it was revealed that his mother had an affair. That Ichiro's father wasn't the man who had married her, but instead was some other man who paid her for her services. This of course, outraged the man who had taken pride in who he thought was his son for so long- and the woman he had to marry.
Prostitution was against the law in the village they had lived in, and was punishable by life in jail or death. Unmarried woman and woman got the easier judgement, married men and woman got the worst, and slaves were let off the hook. Ichiro's mother? Death by hanging. She was hung in the towns square, and his father forced him to watch.
Ichiro didn't talk much after that, and he pretty much watched his father griping and complaining. His father falling to alcoholism after that, with terrible mood swings as a drunk. However, he didn't have to deal with this long. His family disowned him and he was sold off to a group of scientists who were interested in research projects. So one day, on a nice summer afternoon, Ichiro got on a wagon driven by Rapidash with the men in uniforms. He was only allowed to bring a bag of things. So what did he bring?
Ichiro brought with him as much paper he could fit, some clothes, a bunch of writing utensils, and along the way- he picked up a stowaway Fletchling. Upon arriving at the building, they decided that he could keep it as long as he took care of it. So from then on out, the near ten year old boy had only that as a best friend.
Tests were done a couple years later, and it ended with Ichiro becoming a gijinka. More so, a Spiritomb gijinka. They continued to preform various tests.
Teenage years.
This was it. At fourteen he was tossed out with the rest of the unwanted experiments since his purpose of being there had been complete (the fletchling having been held back to be experimented on, which he hated but couldn't complain at the time.. So he took to roaming the streets until he was taken in by a younger couple who were ostracized from society due to being infertile. Yet wanting a child, they saw it as the perfect opportunity to take in Ichiro. He was imperfect, like they were. A child born out of an affair, and turned into a gijinka after his blood relatives disowned him and his mother was killed.
The couple adored the young teen.
As years passed, his knowledge grew. They figured out he had a knack of tattooing- which back then was the traditional hand carving style known as Tebori at the time. Various nicknames for this could fall into that situation. They also taught him English, which he wasn't so good at but he caught onto it pretty quickly once he was shown how. The numerous voices in his head due to being a spiritomb gijinka kind of helped the situation.
Adulthood on up.
At twenty, they forced him out of the house. They loved this adopted son, but they wanted to see him blossom. They wanted the best for him which they thought was letting him go off on his own and explore the world himself. Something they were unable to do. He had no complaints about it, and he got to take more with him than he was allowed before.
He took all his tattoo sketches, paper, writing utensils, some clothes, and some food. The real world was so new to him at this age, he wasn't a child anymore and he hadn't really remembered much from his childhood due to the gijinka process and the tests which had wiped some parts of his memory. So it was new to him, and it left him a bit to shocked for words. Leaving him sticking to himself, not communicating very often. More of a nomad, if anything. Traveling from city to city, talking little, not having many customers.
But, when he was still twenty, he got his first customer for tattoos. A merchant who wanted something interesting, something that represented something, something that'd wow his friends. Ichiro wasn't able to turn down the offer and did just that, drawing a fairly masculine buffolant on the man's back as requested. With a few Japanese words. It was perfect, or so that was what he was told- and so he was rewarded heavily. No money, the merchant didn't have much money to his name. Only pokemon and items.
What he got was the mans best find, what he had harbored so close in fear that the creature would fall into the wrong hands or be abused for her beauty. Her name was Ko, a special colored Rayquaza. It was the merchants payment for the tattoo, insisting that Ichiro take her. That it was the best he could do for such a good looking tattoo. So, he accepted it. Leaving her name as Ko, they traveled together and he has taken very good care of this legendary beast who has been at his side for so long. Never training her either, but testing out her moves once or twice. She requested it.
And that was the start of his new life. A fairly peaceful one, despite being a little unsteady. He met various people throughout the next couple of years, had a few more customers who paid him in various things. A good meal, some shelter for the week, some money, or an expensive item or two which he'd sell. He rarely ever kept it, seeing as those items had a price on them- and well, he did need some money to keep afloat.
At thirty five, he had finally settled down into a comfortable life. It was odd for him to not be married at the time, but some men around his age weren't or were widowed- so the village never really questioned him about this. And they were a lot more understanding than the village he had been born into, where it was highly against the social norm to be unmarried. Since to those people in the village he was born in, that was there life. They lived to have a family of their own, be successful and wealthy. But where Ichiro settled down? Their goals were to stay afloat, survive, and do what you could to keep it all together at the end of the day.
Around this age, he found two younger men while he was out on a walk. Ending up taking them home, Ichiro gave them some food and shelter for the night- Ichiro never questioned them to heavily about why they were in the conditions that they were in. Bloody, torn clothes, a couple injuries, and semi malnourished. But it turned out some events occurred in their old village that they had been running from, and Ichiro left it at that.
Contacting some acquaintances, they did what they could to get the brothers settled into a relatively comfy life style. It took a couple years to sort out and everything, but in the end, the brothers settled into the city life and were much more happier. Ichiro, his friends, and those two brothers soon founded The Capricorns following this as well.

( warning over. )
Not much has occurred since then, and not much has really had his interest since then. The Capricorns is his priority, his main priority. Then himself. And of course tattooing in on that list too, it was his life for a long while. Being much more skilled in Tebori art, he has been using the style of electric needle tattooing for the past hundred years.

Being much more skilled in Tebori art, he has been using the style of electric needle tattooing for the past hundred years.
