Personality: To say the least, Howie has issues. Mostly mental issues but some physical issues as well, but those issues we will cover later. For now, we will start out with the mental ones and how it impacts his personality and other things like that. Seems like a good place to start, doesn't it?
Well for starters, Howie is slow and oblivious to most things. He certainly isn't the brightest person either. So with this mentioned, Howie does have the tendency to ask a lot of questions and not know some things that are fairly obvious to others. Soda would be one thing, for example. Howie doesn't know what soda is even though he has heard of it being talked about.
And with the obliviousness, Howie also has not figured out right from wrong yet. He doesn't know if something is right or something would be wrong. Morally, through virtues or anything else. All he knows is that he was given a task to do and he must do it, no matter what it is. Besides, he may get a reward which always incites him. Aside from the fact he also doesn't want to upset people.
One person who always rewarded him for what he did, through little chocolate treats, was Xavior. The only person Howie is clingy and loyal to, also his only brother. The man always protected him, stood up for him, cared for him and answered what may have been silly questions. Of course though, there wee a couple incidents that he was yelled at but that is not much. In the end, however, if he was taken away from Xavior for long bouts of time or permanently- he would be an emotional wreck. Howie cannot tolerate not being around him, it makes him feel lost, alone and confused. All things he doesn't like.
And with this said, he tends to be very emotional depending what is said. If someone is to bully them or give him a task that is to difficult, he will cry. He will literally curl up and cry- but the crying is mostly from feeling bad. It isn't hard to get him to brighten up either too.
To top it off, Howie does have to be reminded of things from time to time. He forgets. Even though he cannot remember things well and has a difficulty with other things, Howie can be a very happy teenager.
History: The youngest and last born to two wealthy parents but also born sickly. Oma was never quite right from the start, now that was mentioned. He has difficulty of being underweight, catching colds and sickness more often than normal people and he is overall just frail. On top of all this, there were mental issues. From the time it was figured out, he was deemed a special case. Had to be watched near-constantly and was put into special education at school. Howie hated it, he wanted to be with his brother who seemed to care for him- he'd always end up whining and crying to said brother about it too.
At ten, the bullying started and it made it harder on Howie. Thankfully Xavior pulled him out of school by then, since then Howie has not left Xavior's side much. He does what he is told and sometimes rewarded for it, in return Xavior takes care and watch over him. But then again, it was Xavior's job to do so once the parents passed away.
His parents passed away when he was fourteen and Howie was almost sent away to a psychiatric hospital if it wasn't for Xavior. Xavior took up the hospital as said in their parents will, took custody of Howie and promoted him to his assistant. Things took a darker turn but Howie doesn't know it is wrong. He is just happy that is brother is happy and that he can complete tasks that are given to him.
