Personality - A cool, collected man- this one is not easy to upset. He walks in slow strides, taking his time and to adjust to the different types of ground instead of just dirt. Xicohtencatl speaks in a cool, calm and charismatic voice that would probably lull a child to sleep. Gentle and caring with the things he is given or has, Xicohtencatl's personality happens to be an attractive one. Yet it is one that makes people question where he is from. Because how could one be so calm and caring yet nearly apathetic?
Yes, apathetic. Xicohtencatl simply does not care or worry about another person's problems unless they are close to him. All have not gotten close enough to him in the outside world but in the underground world, he is close to family. The only others he might concern himself with are his pokemon and his jobs. Besides that, Xicohtencatl is pretty much apathetic as mentioned.
History - Born and raised underground. Yes, underground. Xicohtencatl's father was a heavy researcher in ancient things despite not being well known and rather.. insane. So when he got married to an equally insane woman, the two vanished into underground tunnels to never see the light of day again. There they had Xicohtencatl, an albino child and a daughter who happens to be older than Xicohtencatl himself.
So growing up underground with insane, strict parents was an odd one and during their childhood- they probably also seemed out of their mind to the general public. Except none of them left their underground home. So have you ever seen the Circletine video on Youtube? That video practically gives an example of their childhood in general.
During his later childhood, he learned about pokemon, how to read and write and other things. Pokemon interested him, especially the ghost and poison types. Not to mention the ancients, revived from fossils, which his father so intently researched for years and years before settling down.
In his teen years, he began searching the underground cave walls and learned more and more about these fossils. Never seeing a creature as living, he has indeed seen the bones and drawings of such. It only heightened his interest further, much further. With questions beyond most peoples thoughts or cares.
Now as an early adult, he realized he was free to do whatever he pleased even though he was in the underground tunnels he called home. So researching pokemon occupations, Xicohtencatl surprisingly decided to take the path of a breeder. Study how pokemon began to differ and change, upgrade from generation to generation- testing and messing with genetics to see how to get the 'perfect pokemon'. Thus the albino took his fathers gas mask, packed a bag, found the exit and ventured off into the real world.
As for the gas mask? It is out of precaution. He does not believe his lungs will be able to handle the air for long lengths of time. Thus the gas mask to help ventilate things he believes are in the air and help support his breathing.
